Georgia Ranks 38th Among All States in Health Study


A new report card detailing the health of every state has ranked Georgia 38th in the U.S. Georgia received the same rank last year, and southern states generally rank toward the bottom of the list.

Among the negative findings were Georgia’s low high school graduation rate, a high number of low-birthweight babies, and lack of access to dentists. Obesity and diabetes are also on the rise.
