Items Needed for Silent Auction


The Georgia Public Health Association invites you to donate an item(s) with a value of at least $25 to the Silent Auction that will be held during our Annual Meeting and Conference. Auction proceeds are used to fund the James W. Alley Memorial Fund.

The Silent Auction will be set-up in the Exhibit Hall this year allowing easy access to all attendees. If you need an idea, maybe a gift basket with items that represent your business, community, or special interest. Items may be purchased or donated by local businesses. GPHA will furnish each donor a record of donation for tax purposes.

The following items are donated so far and may offer additional ideas:

  • Signed cook books by Trisha Yearwood
  • Georgia Bulldog wreath
  • Gift basket
  • Elvis Presley book
  • Vintage GPHA quilt

Please complete a Donation Form to help GPHA track in-kind contributions and to determine a fair minimum bid. Contact the GPHA office (404-861-8423 or director@gapha.org) to arrange for delivery or pickup of your donation.

The James W. Alley Memorial Fund will afford twenty (20) Career Development (formerly Student) members assistance with Conference registration. The Career Development Section will receive and screen applications on which to base their selection of scholarship recipients. In exchange for the scholarship, the recipient agrees to volunteer at the Conference.
