GPHA is an association of individuals and organizations working to improve the public’s health. It promotes the scientific and professional foundation of public health practice and policy, advocates for the conditions for people to achieve their maximum health, emphasizes prevention and supports endeavors that protect and promote the health of the people of Georgia.

Types of Membership:

  • Active – Individual professional membership $40 (additional section $5)
  • Student – Full time students enrolled in university or college $20
  • Retiree $20
  • Organization Member $250
  • Board of Health – All seven members of the board $245
  • Contributing – For-profit corporations or partnerships $500

Section Membership accompanies each Contributing, Associate and Active membership. Students may affiliate with one section, but have no vote. Additional Section Membership requires $5.00 for each Section selected for all classes of members.
