HPM Policy and Practice Forum Thursday, Nov. 20


The Department of Health Policy and Management at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University is hosting a virtual event on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 12-1pm. The event will explore the impact of current funding cuts for public health, and national public health leaders will discuss how agencies are adapting to these changes and developing strategies for a resilient future.

The session will be moderated by Karen Hacker, MD, MPH, Policy Fellow in Residence at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. It will feature Lori Freeman, CEO of the National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO); Chrissie Juliano, Executive Director of the Big Cities Health Coalition; and Susan Kansagra, MD, MBA, Chief Medical Officer at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO).
