State of Emergency Extended; Nurses and Pharmacists Authorized to Administer Vaccine

Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp has extended the Public Health State of Emergency through January 8, 2021 and signed a new executive order extending current COVID-19 restrictions.

The order also includes new language that allows nurses and pharmacists to administer COVID-19 vaccine, including in drive-through settings, once a vaccine is approved for distribution.
