Crossover Day at the GA Capitol

Monday, February 29 is a critical date during this year’s Georgia Legislative session. It’s Crossover Day at the Capitol, and is the last opportunity for a bill to pass out of its original chamber “cross over” to the other chamber. If a bill doesn’t leave its chamber on this day, it will not be considered this year.

According to Scott Maxwell, Legislative Liaison for GPHA, the Senate has added 22 bills to its debate calendar, and the House has added 25 bills.
